Alasdair Groves directs CCEF New England and is a faculty member at CCEF, where he currently serves as the Director of the School of Biblical Counseling. He received his Master of Divinity in counseling from Westminster Theological Seminary. Alasdair has served on the staff of several churches and has a background in campus ministry. He writes for the Journal of Biblical Counseling, and regularly teaches a variety of seminars around the New England region. Alasdair and his wife, Lauren, have three young children. Alasdair is a fiction enthusiast, plays ultimate frisbee, and loves to produce and enjoy both good food and good music.

KEVIN & TAMARA HENNING
Kevin has been a practicing Chiropractor for about 30 years. He has been involved in the counseling ministry since 2005 and finally received his Biblical Counseling Certification through ACBC in 2016. In his very spare time he loves to do video editing and all the technology that comes with it. He loves solving “thinking” puzzles of both the digital and counseling kind. Both Kevin and his wife especially enjoy working as a team to help couples glorify God in their marriage.
Tamara became an Registered Nurse in 1984, and interestingly enough works as a Psychiatric Care nurse at a large Catholic hospital. She has been in the counseling ministry since 2005 and became ACBC certified in 2012. Her hobbies include natural horsemanship training and she loves to do trail challenges with friends. Kevin and Tamara have 2 grown children and have just entered into the empty nest season of life.

Jeff was born and raised in Canada. He graduated from BIOLA with a B.A. in 1996, after which he worked for three years as a head hunter in Southern California. Feeling a call to ministry, he enrolled at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in Boston in 1999, graduating with a Masters of Divinity in 2002. He has been a staff pastor at Grace Christian Fellowship’s central campus in Spokane for the last 4 1/2 years.
Jeff and his wife Becky have 3 daughters and 1 son. Jeff enjoys all sports (especially hockey), reading, hiking, barbeques, and spending time with his family.

Kym’s professional career began in 2000 when she became licensed as a physical therapist after graduating with a Master’s degree from the EWU PT Program. In 2008, she became board-certified as a Neurologic Clinical Specialist by the American Physical Therapy Association Board of Clinical Specialties. She is ATTP-Certified and LSVT BIG-certified for the treatment of Parkinson’s Disease and other movement disorders and has also been trained as a vestibular specialist treating vertigo since 2011. Kym has been involved in ministry at FBC since 2006, including women’s ministry events and singing with the choir and worship team. She received her ACBC Certification in Biblical Counseling in 2015 and has been serving in the FBC counseling ministry ever since. She has been married to her husband, RC, since 2011 and they have 3 adult children and one grandchild.

Dan grew up in Richland, Washington, met and married Kelli at the University of Washington, and they have been together 32 years. They moved to Spokane after medical school in 1987 and have been here ever since. He practices Internal Medicine at Providence Health Care and serves as the lay elder of Youth Ministry at Faith Bible Church. He received his ACBC certification in 2016. They have 3 delightful grown children and one amazing grandson, and they enjoy riding bicycles and swing dancing.
Kelli graduated from University of Washington with a degree in Social Work and married her wonderful husband, Dan in 1984. They lived in Virginia for the first three years of their marriage and settled in Spokane in 1987. Kelli worked in mental health until becoming a mother in 1990. She began her BiblicalCounseling training in 2008, and was certified in 2013. She counsels at Faith Bible Church and loves teaching women the Bible and mentoring youths and young women. She and Dan serve in youth ministry, and have raised 3 children, two of whom are married, and they have one grandson. In their free time they love to read, eat, and swing dance.

Greg is a retired broadcast engineer. He began lay-ministry as an assistant to his small group leader at FBC over twenty years ago. He began leading a growth group a few years later. He attended his first of many biblical counseling seminars in 2008 and became ACBC certified in 2016. He met his wife in high school and married her 42 years ago. They have two grown children.
Denise is an instructor in the school of nursing at a local university as well as a volunteering Family Nurse Practitioner at Union Gospel Mission Health Clinics, serving at both the men’s and the women’s & children’s crisis shelters. She has been actively Biblically counseling women and children at Peaceful Valley Church in Elk, Washington for the past 5 years with ACBC certification since 2015. Currently, she is involved in a doctoral research project evaluating Biblical counseling ministries with an end goal to inform and educate a broad range of medical providers about Christ’s message for adults suffering with depression. Denise has two married sons with two wonderful grandsons.

Tanya has lived in Spokane her whole life. She graduated from Pensacola Christian College in 2004 with a Bachelor's degree in Music Education. That fall, she opened her piano studio and has been teaching children and adults ever since. She enjoys rescuing neglected furniture and other objects, giving them new life to re-sell for her hobby business The Painted Hippo.
She serves in FBC's College Ministry as a leader and retreat administrator. She is also one of FBC's wedding and reception coordinators. She has been certified with ACBC since 2016 and is part of FBC's Counseling Ministry.

Paul has been the head pastor at Grace Bible Church since 1993 -- over 23 years now. He first of all loves Jesus Christ and then he loves people. You will find him and his family to be warm and friendly, but also serious about Bible truth and how God wants us to live it. He has been pastoring and counseling for more than 30 years.
Paul and his wife Roycee' are both graduates of Multnomah School of the Bible (Portland, OR). Paul also holds a B.A. in Communications from Linfield College (McMinnville, OR) and a Master of Arts in Biblical Counseling from The Masters College (Santa Clarita, CA). He and Roycee' are also certified with the Association of Certified Biblical Counseling (previously NANC). Paul and his wife Roycee have nine children (five married) and 26 grandchildren.

Craig was born and raised in Des Moines, Washington, a small suburb located just south of Seattle, and is a 1991 graduate of Seattle Pacific University where he attained his BA degree in Communication and Biblical Studies. Craig married Sharon (his high school sweetheart) immediately following their college graduations.
Craig began a career as a Rehabilitation Counselor for the State of Washington, working at a maximum security incarceration facility. After 5 years of service with the State, Craig entered into the pastorate serving high schools aged and young-adults. Here is where Craig and Sharon saw the tremendous need that young adults had for increased care and shepherding. In the fall of 2001, the Lord led them to establish a residential, Biblical discipleship and counseling ministry in eastern Washington called The Father’s Ranch Ministries. In the spring of 2007 Craig became a certified counselor through ACBC and IABC. In the spring of 2009 Craig and Sharon opened the Biblical Counseling Center of Okanogan, a non-residential counseling service that offers help and hope for marriages and individuals in North Central Washington. In 2012 Craig attained a Master of Divinity with a concentration in Biblical Counseling.

Dr. Lawyer is certified by ACBC and The Association of Biblical Counselors. He has over 30 years pastoral experience, and is currently ministering at Christ Church in Moscow, Idaho.

Brian’s professional career began as a statistician and marketing research analyst (1990-1994). He has been in vocational ministry since 2000, after receiving his M.Div from The Master’s Seminary in 1998. He pastored a church in rural New England for 14 years, before moving to Spokane in 2014 to oversee adult ministries at Faith Bible Church. He has been certified with ACBC since 2006. He has also been married 27 years to his college sweetheart, Michelle, and has three children (24, 21, 17) and two grandchildren.
