Dr. Stuart Scott

Dr. Stuart Scott teaches in the area of biblical counseling at The Master’s University graduate program in Santa Clarita, CA. He also teaches adjunctly at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY. He brings more than 35 years of experience in counseling and pastoral ministry, including nine years as associate pastor of family ministries and counseling at Grace Community Church in Sun Valley, CA, serving under John MacArthur. He serves currently as the Member Care Director and a Fellow with the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors (ACBC).

Dr. Scott is the author of The Exemplary Husband; From Pride to Humility; Communication and Conflict Resolution; Anger, Fear and Anxiety; Biblical Manhood, Leadership and Decision Making; The Faithful Parent: A Biblical Guide for Parenting (co-authored with Martha Peace); and most recently, Killing Sinful Habits: Conquering Sin with Radical Faith (co-authored with his wife, Zondra Scott). He has contributed to Think Biblically, Christianity and Counseling – Five Approaches and co-edited Counseling the Hard Cases.

Dr. Scott and his wife Zondra have been married for over 36 years and have two grown children, Christa and Marc, and two grandchildren. They currently live in Santa Clarita, CA.

Kevin has been a practicing Chiropractor for about 30 years. He has been involved in the counseling ministry since 2005 and finally received his Biblical Counseling Certification through ACBC in 2016.  In his very spare time he loves to do video editing and all the technology that comes with it. He loves solving “thinking” puzzles of both the digital and counseling kind. Both Kevin and his wife especially enjoy working as a team to help couples glorify God in their marriage. 

Tamara became an Registered Nurse in 1984, and interestingly enough works as a Psychiatric Care nurse at a large Catholic hospital. She has been in the counseling ministry since 2005 and became ACBC certified in 2012. Her hobbies include natural horsemanship training and she loves to do trail challenges with friends.  Kevin and Tamara have 2 grown children and have just entered into the empty nest season of life.

Dr. Dan Dionne

Elder at Faith Bible Church

Dan grew up in Richland, Washington, met and married Kelli at the University of Washington, and they have been together 32 years. They moved to Spokane after medical school in 1987 and have been here ever since. He practices Internal Medicine at Providence Health Care and serves as the lay elder of Youth Ministry at Faith Bible Church. He received his ACBC certification in 2016. They have 3 delightful grown children and one amazing grandson, and they enjoy riding bicycles and swing dancing. 

Kelli Dionne

ACBC Certified Counselor, Spokane, WA

Kelli graduated from University of Washington with a degree in Social Work and married her wonderful husband, Dan in 1984. They lived in Virginia for the first three years of their marriage and settled in Spokane in 1987. Kelli worked in mental health until becoming a mother in 1990. She began her Biblical Counseling training in 2008, and was certified in 2013. She counsels at Faith Bible Church and loves teaching women the Bible and mentoring youths and young women. She and Dan serve in youth ministry, and have raised 3 children, two of whom are married, and they have one grandson. In their free time they love to read, eat, and swing dance.


Pastor, Grace Bible Church, Coeur d’Alene, ID

Paul has been the head pastor at Grace Bible Church since 1993 -- over 23 years now. He first of all loves Jesus Christ and then he loves people. You will find him and his family to be warm and friendly, but also serious about Bible truth and how God wants us to live it. He has been pastoring and counseling for more than 30 years.

Paul and his wife Roycee' are both graduates of Multnomah School of the Bible (Portland, OR). Paul also holds a B.A. in Communications from Linfield College (McMinnville, OR) and a Master of Arts in Biblical Counseling from The Masters College (Santa Clarita, CA). He and Roycee' are also certified with the Association of Certified Biblical Counseling (previously NANC). Paul and his wife Roycee have nine children (five married) and 26 grandchildren.

Craig was born and raised in Des Moines, Washington, a small suburb located just south of Seattle, and is a 1991 graduate of Seattle Pacific University where he attained his BA degree in Communication and Biblical Studies. Craig married Sharon (his high school sweetheart) immediately following their college graduations.

Craig began a career as a Rehabilitation Counselor for the State of Washington, working at a maximum security incarceration facility. After 5 years of service with the State, Craig entered into the pastorate serving high schools aged and young-adults. Here is where Craig and Sharon saw the tremendous need that young adults had for increased care and shepherding. In the fall of 2001, the Lord led them to establish a residential, Biblical discipleship and counseling ministry in eastern Washington called The Father’s Ranch Ministries. In the spring of 2007 Craig became a certified counselor through ACBC and IABC. In the spring of 2009 Craig and Sharon opened the Biblical Counseling Center of Okanogan, a non-residential counseling service that offers help and hope for marriages and individuals in North Central Washington.  In 2012 Craig attained a Master of Divinity with a concentration in Biblical Counseling.

Dr. Mike Lawyer has a B.A. in Philosophy from the University of Idaho, an M.Div from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, and a D.Min. in Biblical Counseling from Westminster Theological Seminary. Dr. Lawyer is certified by ACBC and The Association of Biblical Counselors. He has over 30 years pastoral experience, and is currently ministering at Christ Church in Moscow, Idaho.


Adult Ministries Pastor, and Director, Faith Biblical Counseling Center, Spokane, WA

Brian’s professional career began as a statistician and marketing research analyst (1990-1994). He has been in vocational ministry since 2000, after receiving his M.Div from The Master’s Seminary in 1998. He pastored a church in rural New England for 14 years, before moving to Spokane in 2014 to oversee adult ministries at Faith Bible Church. He has been certified with ACBC since 2006. He has also been married 27 years to his college sweetheart, Michelle, and has three children (24, 21, 17) and two grandchildren.
